Rotala "Blood Red"

Rotala Blood Red is fast growing variant of Rotala rotundifolia that is native to southeastern China. The leaves are long and narrow, similar to those of Rotala H'ra.

Rotala Blood Red has the potential to produce vivid, bold red hues, as its name suggests when optimal conditions are met. Similar to other difficult to grow Rotala species, Rotala Blood Red requires CO2 injection, high lighting, softer water and a nutrient- quality fertilizing regiment.
