The narrow-leaved variety Hygrophila polysperma 'Ceylon' is a very fast grower that also does well in a low-light environment without the addition of CO2. The leaves take on a brown, copper colour and with a large number of lateral shoots, this plant requires regular maintenance to keep it looking good. Rapid growth can lead to nutrient imbalance so keep an eye on your other plants and again, keep it well trimmed.
