    Myriophyllum mattogrossense is native to the wetlands of South America. Although a relatively new addition to the hobby, it is set to become popular due to its ease of cultivation and maintenance. This thrives in moderate light but stronger lights will increase its size and more intense pearling. It is not too demanding on other aquarium conditions, making this a good beginner plant.
